Listing Build is a tool that helps sellers manage listings on online marketplaces. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. Access to Listing Build is by invitation only.
What we collect
Account information. Your email address, and the name you choose to go by. That is all we need to give you an account.
Marketplace connection data. When you connect a shop, we store access tokens issued by that marketplace so the app can act on your behalf. These tokens are encrypted before they are stored and are never sent to your browser. We never see, receive or store your marketplace password.
Shop content. Listings, titles, descriptions, prices, tags, images and related details from the shops you connect, along with anything you create in the app — reusable blocks, uploaded images and keyword research. This is the working material of the app.
Usage records. Basic logs of actions taken in the app, including a record of changes published to your shop, so that a failed change can be diagnosed. These logs do not contain access tokens.
What we do not collect
We do not request or store your customers' personal information. We do not request access to your sales or transaction data. We do not use your shop content to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
How we use it
To operate the app for you: displaying your listings, saving your work, and publishing changes you have approved. Nothing is published to your shop without your explicit confirmation.
To generate draft listing text when you ask for it. When you use that feature, the product details you provide are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce a draft. You review and edit anything it produces before it goes anywhere.
To keep the service working — diagnosing errors, preventing abuse, and meeting our obligations under the marketplace API terms we operate under.
Who else is involved
We use a small number of service providers to run Listing Build:
- Supabase, for database, authentication and file storage
- Vercel, for hosting
- Anthropic, for the Claude API used in draft generation
- The marketplaces you choose to connect, such as Etsy
Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it with other users of the app.
Security
Marketplace access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to your data is restricted at the database level, not only in the application, so that your shops are reachable only from your own account.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you.
Your control
You can disconnect a shop at any time, which revokes and deletes its access tokens. You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it, and we will do so within 30 days. You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you. Write to listingbuildapp@gmail.com.
If you are in the UK, EU or another region with data protection laws giving you further rights, those rights apply and we will honour them.
How long we keep things
We keep your data while your account is open. When you close it, we delete your content and connection tokens within 30 days. Basic records of publish actions may be kept a little longer where we need them to resolve a dispute.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email you rather than quietly updating the page.
